The technique / know-how

The wax receives a hint of ivory throughout the mass, then is hand-brushed after cooling. The technique deliberately keeps the micro-imperfections and creates a raw texture. A light reheating reveals a mineral look that many describe as an “alabaster” effect.

Each piece is unique: no two candle holders will ever be exactly identical.

Usage tips

• 🕯️ Tealight included
• 🔥 Always use a heat shield (rice, sand or coarse salt) : it is placed on the base of the candle holder and acts as insulation. It prevents the candle holder from deforming or melting at its base when the aluminium of the tealight heats up strongly / may melt underneath.
• ⚠️ Always centre the tealight at the bottom of the candle holder
• 🌞 Avoid direct sunlight and very hot rooms (veranda/greenhouse, attic room in summer)
• ☔ Can be used outdoors in dry and rainy weather (with LED only)
• ❄️ Frost-sensitive — do not leave outside in sub-zero temperatures
• 💥 Fragile item : sensitive to impact
• 🧽 Regularly clean the wax residue at the bottom
