Les Artisans Ciriers Bruxellois at the Christmas market
Hand-shaped wax candle holders, in our chalet in the heart of Brussels, from 27 novembre 2026 to 3 janvier 2027, at the Vismet.
Each candle holder is shaped by hand by Annette and Manu, certified artisans, then lit by a tealight or a rechargeable LED. Come and see them shine and choose the one that will light up your festive season.
Plaisirs d’Hiver, the big Christmas market of Brussels
Every winter, Brussels turns into a festive village: more than 200 chalets, an ice rink, curling, a big wheel, a giant Christmas tree and a sound and light show on the Grand-Place. The 2026 edition runs from 27 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, every day from 12 noon to 10pm (closing at 6pm on 24 and 31 December). Entry is free; the ice rink, the big wheel and the rides are paid.
The market spreads across several squares in the centre: Grand-Place, place de la Monnaie, Bourse, place Sainte-Catherine, Vismet (Marché aux Poissons) and place De Brouckère. We are at the Vismet, among regional artisans.

Where to find us
Our chalet is at the Vismet (Vismarkt), in the heart of Brussels. The market closes on 3 January 2027 at 6pm.
How to get here by metro
Take line 1 towards Gare de l’Ouest and sit at the rear of the train. Get off at Sainte-Catherine, leave by the rear of the train and take the escalators: our stand is right in front of you. Isn’t life beautiful?
